ELIZABETH THOMSON, born in London in 1957, read music at Liverpool University. She edited Conclusions on the Wall: New Essays on Bob Dylan and has contributed to various publications, including Woman's Journal, Melody Maker, History of Rock, The Listener, The Times and Books and Bookmen. She as broadcast on radio, both in Britain and abroad, and is currently a staff writer for Publishing News. DAVID GUTMAN, born in London in 1957, studied history at St John's College, Cambridge and libraianship at North London Polytechnic. He has written for Brio and Books and Bookmen and contributed various record sleeve notes. He is the author of an illustrated biography of Prokofiev.
