Lion in the Streets by Judith Thompson

An enduring classic that looks at the inner emotional turmoil in ordinary people and the ways in which they cope. Seventeen years ago, Isobel was murdered at the age of nine. Now she finds herself back in her previous life as a ghost searching for the person responsible. Will she finally get the peace she's been yearning for?

For White Biting Dog and The Other Side of the Dark, Judith Thompson has won the Governor General's Literary Prize twice. She was made an Member of the Order of Canada in 2006, and she was the first Canadian to win the Susan Smith Blackburn Award for her play Palace of the End in 2008. Judith lives in Toronto and is a theater professor at the University of Guelph.
