Liz Woodhouse studied Classics at Cambridge. She worked for the Departments of Employment and then Agriculture. Later, she was a JP for 20 years, and also taught English as a Foreign Language. Living in Reigate, Liz is married with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. Her previous historical novel published by Matador in 2012, Elizabeth I: The People’s Queen? covered the first 35 years of Elizabeth’s life.
