Linda Gilkeson has been gardening for over 40 years and is a devoted organic gardener. Her book, Year-Round Harvest, is widely regarded as the most comprehensive reference to winter gardening on the West Coast. She is a regular lecturer in British Columbia's Master Gardener programs and has led hundreds of pest management and organic gardening seminars. Linda is passionate about maintaining natural ecosystems via conservation and public education as the Executive Director of the Salt Spring Island Conservancy.
