Searle's Cats by Ronald Searle

Searle’s Cats ride again. The famous four-colour illustrations that some may think are distant relatives of a feline St Trinians are all here. They have become internationally famous, the cat of a thousand disguises concealing itself as a rug, the circus cat secrets rehearsing `Hamlet’, the embarrassed cat discovering that all cats are not the same in the dark. Just some of the illustrations in full colour, illuminated with wit and wisdom by one of the great draughtsmen of our time.
Ronald Searle, CBE, RDI was one of the most acclaimed satirical graphic artist of the twentieth century. He delighted millions with his creation of St Trinians and published numerous books of caricatures of humans and animals, as well as being a leading contributor to Le Monde and Life magazine. He died in 2011.
