Camford, from electrified golf club, to the local expert in vegetable arrangement, via the unscrupulous estate agent with the fraudulent cellar, is about to get rudely jolted out of sleepy suburban slumber. You could blame the Fairy Queen, if you believed in her, but with the world about to end you probably won't worry about that too much. Obviously someone has to do something, and who better than Laurel Miles, the eccentric but dedicated rainbow warrior with a head-full of Amazonian ant music? Andrew Harman is the author of such popular comic fantasies as Frogs of War, 101 Damnations and The Sorcerer's Appendix.
