"A revolution is needed in nursing education no less dramatic than the one instigated by Florence Nightingale" - Sister Mary Margaret Mooney; "Nancy Diekelmann, in particular, is a scholar with one of the most extraordinary minds that I have ever known. Her work on narrative pedagogies is original.... All of the pedagogies described here flow from Nancy Diekelmann's research on new pedagogies, research that is sound, relevant, and highly respected. Overall, this book challenges educators to think in totally new ways about our educational environment and the roles played by learners, teachers, and describes cutting-edge innovations that will enhance the educational enterprise." - Theresa M. Valiga, EdD, RN, National League for Nursing
Nancy L. Diekelmann is the Helen Denne Schulte Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a past president of the Society for Research in Nursing Education.
