About P. J. Casey

P. J. Casey has a degree in archaeology from the University of Wales, Cardiff. He is on the councils of both the Royal Numismatic Society and the British Numismatic Society. He has conducted excavations at Caernarfon, Lydney Park, Caerleon, Ilchester, Greta Bridge and elsewhere, and he contributes coin reports to numerous other excavations. The Royal Numismatic Society awarded him the Lhotke Memorial Prize for the first edition of Roman Coinage in Britain.
