This encyclopaedia contains in-depth information about cookery, ingredients and equipment. It is divided into four sections. The first contains information on ingredients such as dairy products, pasta, spices, and vegetables. The second part is entitled Tools and Equipment and deals with the utensils that the cook is likely to use. Section three explains and illustrates basic cooking techniques, while the final section contains over 1000 recipes for all meals and occassions, inspired by cuisines from all over the world.
