Anwer Bati has a specialised knowledge of cigars and is a dedicated smoker of handmade cigars. At the invitation of the Cuban State Tobacco Monopoly, Cubatabaco, he visited Cuba's famous cigar factories and plantations in order to learn at first hand about the growing of cigar tobacco, the making of cigars and the industry and its leaders.
