Norton's Star Atlas and Reference Handbook by Arthur P. Norton
A unique visual and textual reference, first published in l9l0, that is widely known and used by professional and amateur astronomers worldwide. Almost all the objects listed--down to and including stars of the seventh magnitude--areshown on the maps, the plan and arrangement of which enable an area of about one-fifth of the heavens to be seen at a single opening. In addition, the Atlas provides a wealth of material, including lists of over 700 interesting astronomical objects, and explanations of unfamiliar terms.
