Holey Moley Summary

Holey Moley by Bethan Clarke

An anarchic, hilarious story by exciting debut author Bethan Clarke, illustrated with deadpan humour by rising star Anders Frang.

Gus the Goat loves guessing. And he loves rhyming. So, when he meets Mavis Mole, he cant help himself trying to guess where she lives. Is it in a hole? In a bowl!? In a Sausage ROLL!! No, not quite . . .

This super-silly and totally HOLE-ARIOUS story will have kids laughing out loud and joining in with Gus Goats outlandish guessing game. Perfect for inspiring a love of language in little ones. Fans of The Day The Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers, the Supertato series by Paul Linnet and Sue Hendra, and anything Dr Seuss, will adore Holey Moley!

About Bethan Clarke

Bethan Clarke has been a story maker-upper ever since she could write them back to front. This has proven to be a vital outlet for her love of silliness and fondness for puns. Bethan lives near Manchester with her partner, two children, two dogs and a headful of nonsense. Anders Frang is a Danish illustrator with a passion for illustrating picture books. He seeks inspiration in many forms of art, but also in playing music, dog sitting and cycling trips. He is currently based in Copenhagen after spending several years in Edinburgh, and holds an MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
