The readings in this book present Lewis in all his different moods. Sometimes he tackles the "big" theological issues, sometimes small details of the New Testament. There are words of comfort and inspiration, notably on the subjects of love, death and the power of prayer. The extracts are linked where possible to the feasts and seasons of the Christian year.
