About Colin Greenland

Award winning Colin Greenland was born in Dover in 1954 and wrote his first book, about a fire-engine that laid an egg, at the age of five. Since then he has written 'The Hour of the Thin Ox', which the 'Guardian' said 'could be a classic'; and its successor, 'Other Voices', written to a soundtrack of the Cure, Dead Can Dance, New Order and the Cocteau Twins, which was hailed as 'a short, sharp and moving tale with an acrid and lingering aftertaste.'
