Talking of Mothers: Poems on Mothers by Douglas Brooks-Davies

This delightful collection celebrates motherhood in all its forms. Here you will find all the joy, grief, self-sacrifice, occasional irritation but above all, the intimate tenderness of motherhood - whether evoked in a glimpse of a very human mother or through heroic tales of the great mother goddesses of myth, legend and religion.
