CWWL 3-hour kitchen table workshops, limited to a max of 8 students, take place in Chiswick, west London. There are classes for complete beginners, follow-on workshops, and share-your-work supervised feedback groups. Since lockdown, all workshops have transferred to 1-hour online interactive Zoom sessions, with a maximum of 6 participants. They are run by novelist Diane Chandler and publisher at Blackbird Digital Books, Stephanie Zia. In the summer of 2020, CWWL ran a creative writing competition, judged anonymously by themselves and literary agent Anna Klerfalk of Inter Saga Literary Agency. This anthology is the result. All proceeds from the sales of this Anthology go to Chiswick charity The Upper Room.
