About Galen A. Grimes

Galen A. Grimes has been working with computers since 1980 when he purchased his first PC, an Apple II+. Since then, he has worked on PCs using DOS, Windows (3.1/95/NT 4.0/2000/Me/XP), and UNIX, and has programmed in about a dozen different programming languages including C/C++, Assembler, Pascal, BASIC, and xBase. Galen has a master's degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and is currently an assistant professor in the School of Information Sciences and Technology at the McKeesport campus of Penn State University.
