The Lioness and Her Knight Summary

The Lioness and Her Knight by Gerald Morris

Luneta is tired of living in dull Orkney with her mother and father (the most boring knight of King Arthur's Round Table). She prides herself on always getting what she wants, so when the opportunity presents itself, she jumps at the chance to stay at a family friend's castle near Camelot. Her handsome cousin, Sir Ywain - a young knight seeking adventure - arrives just in time to escort her. Along the way, they pick up a witty, honorable knight-turned-fool named Rhience. Before their journeys end, they will face danger, enchantment, trials and sorrow, all for the sake of love and honour.

The Lioness and Her Knight Reviews

Never at a loss for a stirring adjective, this armour-rattling tale gallops along at a good rate. Nick Tucker, TES These books are so very, very funny! I kept wanting to read the best bits out to my mum. Lucy Howlett, aged 11, Red House Book Club reviewer

About Gerald Morris

Gerald Morris has written seven titles in the highly-acclaimed The Squire's Tales series. In addition to writing he also serves as pastor of a church and teaches theology. As a child, Morris read voraciously, but mostly bad Western novels. Years later, when he discovered the ancient tales of King Arthur and realized what a good thing he had been missing all those years, he decided to retell those stories for the next generation. Gerald lives in Wisconsin, USA with his wife and three children.
