This text explains the processes of modern clothing manufacture and describes the equipment used to carry them out. Recent developments, as well as established methods are described for cutting, sewing and other methods of joining materials and pressing. Manual, mechanized and automated methods are considered as well as the applications of computer control and robotics to clothing production.
