About Helen M. Stevens

Helen M. Stevens has become an internationally-acclaimed embroiderer and designer since opening her studio, True Embroideries, in 1981. Her unique pictures, worked by hand in pure silk, are in collections around the world, and commissions include work for the Mary Rose Trust, Harrods, the Edith Cavell Hospital, and the Palace of Westminster. Helen also lectures throughout the UK and overseas and undertakes research on medieval and contemporary embroidery. Helen lives in Suffolk.
