When the Kentuckian gunfighter, Jack Stone, rides into Horseshoe Bend expecting to spend a peaceful Christmas with his old Army padre, he finds the town has been taken over by Leroy Cheney and the notorious Inglis gang. They have created a reign of terror and are extracting tribute from its citizens. The town marshal is helpless and law and order has broken down. Then, the sudden arrival of an itinerant Texas cowboy provokes a confrontation. Jack Stone sides with the Texan and it isn't long before Leroy Cheney discovers they don't come any tougher or deadlier than Stone.
