Uneasy Sleepers Summary

Uneasy Sleepers by Jeremy York

While the Cold War manifestly threatened to end humankind it insidiously destroyed the lives of countless individuals of goodwill. 'Uneasy Sleepers' tells the story of anonymous courage and self-sacrifice against a backdrop of Cold War paranoia, cynicism, chicanery and attempted subversion.

About Jeremy York

The author served in the British Army during the Cold War after reading modern languages at Jesus College, Oxford. Over the course of his career he spent a good deal of time gathering military intelligence in communist eastern Europe.
