About John Stringer

John Springer taught in primary education for twenty-five years before becoming a freelance writer in science and technology for young children. He helps to write the country's most widely used science resources and advises on schools television for young children. He leads practical science workshops for children and their teachers and believes that science questions are the first and most interesting ones that children ask!
The consultant, Dr. Mike Goldsmith, has undertaken research into areas of science including time, stars, sound and speech. He has written several children's books and works at the UK's National Physical Laboratory.
