John Wagner is, to many fans, the very heart of the renowned comic 2000 AD. Involved from the earliest days of the comic in 1977, he co-created Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog, as well as a whole cast of other memorable characters. Wagner has worked extensively beyond the Thargian universe, originating and editing a number of British periodicals as well as writing many American standards. His Paradox Press graphic novel A History of Violence was made into a major film from director David Cronenberg.
Alan Grant was John Wagner's co-writer for many years, scripting hundreds of Judge Dredd, Judge Anderson and Strontium Dog episodes for 2000 AD. He has also written Batman, Lobo and The Bogie Man.
Colin MacNeil's sumptuous painted artwork has graced classic 2000 AD stories such as America and Devlin Waugh. He has also illustrated Calhab Justice, Chopper, The Corps, Devlin Waugh, Heavy Metal Dredd, Judge Dredd, Maelstrom, Mega-City Mania, Missionary Man, Satanus, Shimura, Strontium Dog, Tales of the Doghouse, Tales of Mega-City One and Tharg's Future Shocks.
Simon Harrison has earned a place in 2000 AD notoriety with his work on the controversial Strontium Dog strip 'The Final Solution'. He is also co-creator of Bradley and Revere, and has illustrated several Future Shocks.
