Great Expectations: Prospective Study of Women's Expectations and Experiences of Childbirth by Josephine Green
Over 700 women who gave birth in six hospitals in the south east of England in 1987 were studied, and their expectations and experiences are reported in this book. The book is in three parts. The first part presents the background, methodology and main results of the study, and the second part covers a number of topics in greater depth. The final part comprises all the questionnaires used in the study and additional details of specific analyses.
