About Lorna Woods (Professor of Law, University of Essex, and a Solicitor)

Lorna Woods is Professor of Law and Deputy Director of Research at the University of Essex. She has taught EU law for many years and also has extensive experience in the field of media policy and communications regulation. Philippa Watson is Professor of Law at the Institute for the Study of European Law (ISEL), The City Law School, City, University of London, and a Barrister at Essex Court Chambers in London. Her specialist area is EU competition law. Marios Costa is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Institute for the Study of European Law (ISEL), The City Law School, City, University of London. His principal research interests are in the area of accountability and transparency at the EU level of governance.
