If only all first knitting books were as simple to use as this! Integrated into each pattern are step-by-step sequences, so that, for example, where the notation says, 'skpo, k2tog', you'll find a reassuring two-step sequence showing exactly what your knitting needles should be doing.

At key shaping stages, there are more photographs to show what your garment should look like at that stage. It's a great way to compare your own knitting with the teacher's, so you can ensure you are always on track. The useful ready-reference fold-out flaps mean you never have to let go of your knitting for a moment.
