Rescued from imprisonment which cost him both his memory and his dreams, Mr Ramirez now lives in a home for the old. Larry, a drop-out from the middle-class academic world he once inhabited lives in his own exile. As Larry pushes Mr Ramirez in is wheelchair through the streets of Greenwich Village they talk, wonderig if they can avoid each other's lies.
