These are just a few of the whale - and dolphinwatching experiences now available in different parts of Europe, which is rapidly becoming a hotspot for this exhilarating activity. From Scotland and Ireland to Spain and Norway, there are tours to suit every taste: comfortable half-day excursions to two- or three-week expeditions. The first book of its kind covering Britain and Europe, Mark Carwardine's "Guide to WhaleWatching" is the definitive guide to watching whales, dolphins and porpoises in those waters.
