About Matthew Sweeney

The winner of the 1983 Arvon International Poetry Competition, John Hartley Williams has had many of his poems published. Matthew Sweeney, also widely published, is a frequent reviewer of poetry books for children. He was writer-in-residence at London's South Bank Centre in 1994-95.
