Zombie McCrombie Summary

Zombie McCrombie: from an overturned Kombi by Michael Ward

In the tradition of illustrated childrens books for adults, such as Go the F**k to Sleep and Were Going on a Bar Hunt, Zombie McCrombie is a hilarious parody of the well-loved childrens book Hairy Maclary from Donaldsons Dairy, by Lynley Dodd.

Dead yet alive
and hungry for brains
lurched Zombie McCrombie
from an overturned Kombi...

Zombie McCrombie (from an overturned Kombi) and his zombie dog pals, Montague Klutz (trailing his guts) and Benedict Wise (enshrouded by flies) roam the empty streets, sniffing the wind for bones they might gnaw ... with a gut-bustingly hilarious outcome! With perfectly gruesome illustrations by Gypsy Taylor, in the vein of Ralph Steadman, this tale of the undead Zombie Macrombie is perfect for anyone (with an appreciation for the wicked!) with fond memories of the children's classic Hairy Maclary from Donaldsons Dairy.

Firmly tongue in cheek and a perfect gift, this modern day classic will entertain parents, teenagers and grandparents for years to come.
