Legend has it that 1,000 years ago the world was destroyed during Ragnarok, but the ancient gods did not fall as prophesized. Now, Ragnarok is set to happen again, and gods, men and demons vie for the power to rule the next millennium. The goddess Freya, leader of the fearsome Valkyries, is one such contender. Even now, her agents scour the Midgard realm in search of new sources of power.
