Now, Ragnarok is set to happen again, and gods, men and demons vie for the power to rule the next millennium. The goddess Freya, leader of the fearsome Valkyries, is one such contender. Even now, her agents scour the Midgard realm in search of new sources of power. Chaos never asked to be humanity's defender, but with the second Ragnarok growing near, he may be mankind's last best hope. Joined by the assassin Loki, Chaos must now stop the necromancer Himmelmez from destroying the capital city of. Fighting an ever growing army of faceless zombies is hard enough, but when the necromancer uses Chaos' now undead best friend to attack him, the Rune Knight is unable to fight back. Things further complicate with the reappearance of the rogue Valkyrie Sara Irene, who works for Freya, but seems to have an agenda of her own. The seeds of betrayal have been sown.
