Gregori Nowek, mayor of the remote town of Markovo in Siberia, is ordered to investigate a savage triple murder. As Gregori digs deeper he uncovers a labyrinth of deception and discovers that an old horror, long thought to be dead, has re-emerged amidst the frozen wastes of Siberia.
