Summary

Small lies, tender lies, half-truths, and well-intentioned untruths lie at the heart of a blistering, uncomfortably accurate play about men and women from the writer of the National Theatre of Scotland's hit play Cockroach.

While You Lie Summary

While You Lie by Sam Holcroft

Two couples explore the threat of honesty and our perverse need for it at whatever cost. Ana calls Edward's bluff on their disintegrating relationship and enters a deadly truthful world where honesty is celebrated in all of its dangerous glory. While for Helen - loving mother, home-maker, wife - beneath the civilised veneer of her life, a dark truth threatens to surface. While You Lie premiered at the Traverse Theatre during the 2010 Edinburgh Festival.
