An approach to skiing which, instead of dictating rigidly what skiers should or should not do, encourages them to look into their own inner processes. Through questionnaires and awareness exercises, it confronts the inner and outer obstacles that hinder progress, such as tension, anxiety and poor posture, and gives advice on overcoming them. The central issues of balancing on skies are explained simply and logically, always connected with the skier's individual experience; and the different problems encountered by men and women on the ski-slope, so often overlooked, are explored in depth.
