In 1998 the on-off peace in Northern Ireland leads to a huge crime wave. Fomer IRA paramilitaries turn to organized crime based on the illegal sale of arms. Appalled at the scale of the problem, the British authorities assign an SAS soldier, Michael Burton, to "neutralize" the men in charge.
