Seal Reviews

One expects high standards from Wayland, and this book does not disappoint. It is ideal for the junior library shelves of any school. There are stunningly beautiful photographs on every page, each tying closely with the text, excellent diagrams and labels, a good index and glossary...The text is very well written. The layout on each of the double-page spreads has plenty of variety, there is no resorting to gimmicks. The pages themselves are of high quality paper and look as though they will stand up to a lot of handling. This book is a winner from all aspects and is highly recommended. - School Librarian
