About Theresa Breslin

Theresa Breslin is author of more than 30 books and wrote her first novel while working as a mobile librarian. She was awarded the Carnegie Medal in 1994 and has been consistently honoured since. Her historical novel, The Medici Seal, was shortlisted for the Book Trust Teen Book Prize and the Royal Mail Children's Book Award. She is in demand all over the world as a lecturer, adviser and tutor. She lives in Glasgow.
