Colonel Tom Blake is a modern day hero, a man that provides unwelcome problems for his superiors along with welcome successes. To his bosses a maverick but to his colleagues and his men Blake can do no wrong. The killers in Bosnia know that Blake is a man to reckon with. When a republic president is assassinated, the Balkans threaten to erupt once more into a conflagration that threatens worldwide peace. Blake is sent in to make sure that threat is countered.
