About Tony Maddox

Tony Maddox began his professional career as a commercial artist in a Birmingham advertising agency where his work ranged from print and package design to greetings card and book illustration. \\n \\nTony`s first book Spike, the Sparrow who Couldn`t Sing published in 1987 and Fergus the Farmyard Dog followed shortly afterwards. This proved so popular that seven more Fergus titles have been published. Tony is the author of fourteen books. His first book with Orchard Books is Not so loud Oliver. \\n \\nTony`s hobbies are painting, reading and listening to all types of music. He is married with four grown up children, and lives in Worcestershire.
