Ownership plate stuck to front pastedown. Binding remains firm. Some pages haven't been separated. Page 274-5 has slightly torn top edge. Pages are moderately tanned and foxing throughout. Heavier tanning and foxing to endpapers, pastedowns and title page. Some of cracked gutters, with exposed netting in one or two places. There is the previous owner's inscription to front endpaper; as well as pencil inscriptions. Plate is bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to the edges.Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends and fraying to cloth. Boards are bowed. Tanning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is darkened slightly. Couple of ring marks and water staining to front. Back has couple of white paint marks.
