Heavy cracking to hinges, with exposed netting, front board is partially detached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout, heavier to first and last few pages, with stains and markings to some pages. Staining to pastedown edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Mottling to cloth boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
