Books by Barbara Adams
The late Barbara Adams became interested in ancient Egyptian mummies as a child. After starting her museum career at the Natural History Museum in the Entomology and Palaeontology departments, she moved to the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology at University College London, where is was the Research Curator. Her interest in Egyptian archaeology expanded to cover all types of artefacts and led her to participation in fieldwork at the site of Hierakonpolis in Upper Egypt, where is co-directed the excavations.
