Books by Barry Cole

Barry Cole was born in Yorkshire but spent much of his adult life in Bedfordshire. He served as a regular soldier for eleven years and after leaving the army, as a hobby began contributing stories and articles to the monthly magazines published by two Native American Charities. As well as writing he also has a great affection for films and after taking a two year course at the London Screenwriters Workshop he embarked on writing feature length film scripts. Over the course of several years he has completed five screenplays which he is now in the process of adapting into novels, the first of which being Shingas, completed and self published in October this year. He has also written a children's book entitled The Time Bandit and is currently working on a second children's book, The Conquistador's Horse, a sample chapter of which appears after the Appendix in The Time Bandit.At the present time he is living on a narrow boat named Tranquility, moored on the Grand Union canal in Northamptonshire.
