Belinda Downes, a former artist-in-residence at Hampton Court Palace, is an accomplished needlesmith whose work is exhibited all over the world. This is her first title for Walker Books; her intricate painted-embroidery style has been seen before in "Snow White" and "The Twelve Dancing Princesses". Belinda lives in Bristol.
