Caroline Walker (b.1982, Dunfermline, UK) currently lives and works in London, where she completed her MA at the Royal College of Art in 2009. Recent solo exhibitions include Kettle's Yard, Cambridge; GRIMM, Amsterdam and New York; Anat Ebgi, Los Angeles; ProjectB, Milan, and Space K, Gwacheon. She has been included in numerous group shows including at Whitechapel Gallery, London; Milan Triennale; Sainsbury Centre, Norwich, and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. Her work is included in international collections including the Saatchi Collection, London; the Franks-Suss Collection, London; ING Bank Collection, Netherlands; and the Kolon Art Collection, Korea. Marco Livingstone is an independent art historian, critic and curator who writes extensively on modern and contemporary art. Dr. Lauren Elkin is a writer based in Paris. Her writing on books, art, culture, travel and fashion has appeared in publications including The New York Times, the Guardian, Le Monde, Vogue, the FT, and Frieze. She is a contributing editor at The White Review. Her book, `Flaneuse: Women Walk the City' (2016) has been published internationally. Andrew Nairne is the director of Kettle's Yard, University of Cambridge. Between 2001 and 2008 he was director of Modern Art Oxford. He was also the first director of Dundee Contemporary Arts, having previously curated exhibitions at CCA Glasgow and supported the rise of a new generation of Scottish and European artists. Dr Rina Arya is a Professor at the University of Huddersfield who is interested in the visual and material culture of religion. Author of `Francis Bacon: Painting in a Godless World' (2012) and `Abjection and Representation' (2014), she is currently working on a study of cultural appropriation in a Hindu context.
