She is the owner of and creative force behind two retail stores in Manhattan - Purl and Purl Patchwork - the website purlsoho.com, and the blog purlbee.com. She is a former senior style editor for Martha Stewart Omnimedia and holds a master of fine arts degree from Yale University.
