Katie Ebben trained as a printed textile designer before completing a postgraduate course in Art and Design History. She was Editor of Coast magazine, Deputy Editor of Elle Decoration and before that Editor of Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms magazine. Katie now lives in Scotland and works as a freelance interiors stylist and writer. She is the author of Wall Effects, Stitch It, Make Do & Mend and Basic Stitches (Conran Octopus).
