Neil Ardley was an novelist and composer from England. He majored in chemistry, piano, and saxophone at Bristol University, and went on to publish more than 100 books on music, technology, and science, including 101 Amazing Science Experiments, Eyewitness: Music, and How Things Work. He had sold around 10 million volumes by the time he retired. In 2004, he passed away.
