J. Lucy Boyd, RN, BSN has practiced nursing since 1991. She has treated many adolescent and young adult populations for eating disorders and has counseled hundreds of patients on principles of sound nutrition. Now a registered nurse and full-time writer, she enjoys sharing her medical and culinary wisdom with new generations. Boyd was valedictorian of her class at the Livingston School of Practical Nursing and later graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of the State of New York - Regents College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is a proud native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she can be found cooking in her spare time.
